Product innovations and technological developments
In recent weeks, Apple Inc. has faced a major leak of internal information, revealing plans to launch a new generation of products. Among the anticipated new products are the HomePod mini with an A16 chip, Apple TV 4K with A17 Pro, iPad mini with A19 Pro, a new basic iPad with an A18 chip, and the entire Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3 lineups. Also in development are the Apple Vision Pro 2 equipped with an M5 chip and the Apple Studio Display 2 with mini LED technology. The launch schedule ranges from September 2025 to 2026–2027.
Another new feature is the development of a new operating system called “Charismatic,” which is intended for smart home devices and inspired by watchOS and tvOS. The goal is to offer users artificial intelligence integration, an emphasis on privacy, and new possibilities for using smart home hubs and robotic assistants.
Apple is also working on a prototype tabletop robot with a visual version of the Siri voice assistant, which is expected to be launched around 2027. At the same time, it is developing a smart home display with facial recognition and multi-user support (planned launch in 2026).
Artificial intelligence and strategic direction
In the field of AI, Apple has set up a new AKI (Answers, Knowledge and Information) team with the aim of developing its own response system similar to ChatGPT. The project focuses on integrating knowledge databases and web resources into new services. However, analysts, including Dan Ives (Wedbush), point out that Apple lags significantly behind competitors such as Google, Microsoft, and Meta in the field of AI.
Investments and production capacity
Apple Inc. has announced extensive investments in the US totaling $500 billion over the next four years. Key projects include the construction of a server factory in Houston, a new training center in Detroit, and the expansion of AI and semiconductor research.
The company is also strengthening its partnership with Corning, in which it is investing $2.5 billion. The result will be the production of all glass for iPhones and Apple Watches at a plant in Kentucky, including the establishment of an Apple-Corning innovation center.
Legal and social challenges
Apple Inc. faces a number of legal and regulatory pressures. Elon Musk has accused the company of antitrust practices in favoring OpenAI applications over his X and Grok AI platforms in the App Store. In addition, Apple is suing YouTuber Jon Prosser for leaking information about iOS 26, which it calls the biggest leak in the history of its operating system.
Another issue is the tension between climate goals and the growing emissions associated with AI. The energy intensity of new technologies complicates Apple’s plan to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.

Financial results and tax agenda
Despite record revenues in the services segment, Apple continues to face losses in Apple TV+, where the annual deficit exceeds $1 billion. In the UK, the company’s tax liability increased by 62% due to higher profits, and disputes over tax agreements with Ireland continue in the EU.
The company also pays regular quarterly dividends. The dividend yield is currently USD 0.26 per share. The dividend amount itself was approved by the company’s general meeting at 0.45% p.a. The average target price per share for the short to medium-term investment horizon was set by Zacks.com at USD 235.57 per share.
